new interface!!!!

that's is the coolest stuff i have ever seen for a while: the new interface of my journal... and it's much more easier to load!!! that's really great.
even if it took us almost 2 months to change it, this website is now much better!!!
i would like to thank my webmaster for all the great work he has done, and the hours he has spent in front of his screen... thanks a lot!!!

tomorrow i am going to marseille to shot a skate boarding contest.
i hope i'll be able to grab a computer with internet to write down from there...

i went back in my dark room this week, to prepare new prints for the models of my postcards... well i still don't know if i am gonna do it, because it's a bit expensive... but i am doing the models , just in case...

New stuffs on line...

since last night there are some new stuffs on this website...

most of these new pix are from my last trip in India/ Nepal in March 2003 (even if all the Nepal pictures are not on line yet, due to a lake of slides scanner machine! But hopefully, we’ll find a solution as soon as possible…)

The pictures are in subcategories in the new category “Nepal/ India”… there is a category especially on the “Tibetan Refugee camps” in India, another one on the “Shedphelling Monastery”, a Tibetan monastery located in Mundgod (Karnataka state), it contains a brief history of the monastery and many portraits of the young monks.

There are new pix in 2 others subcategories named “Mother India” and “Indian views” with pictures and landscapes of Indians and India.

There are also new stuffs in the category “Seen On Earth”…

Don’t forget to post me your impressions in this forum…

veg momos, postcards & scanners

he ho!

i know i haven't wrote anything in my forum for ages... ooops sorry, but i have been really busy!
last week i was in south west of france, near Biarritz, to bring some pictures to a surf magazine... and i went to a great exposure, named "terre d'images" in Biarritz. it's a big Photography event, showing the work of some of the best photo- reporters. This year the theme was "the exile" it was really interesting, not only because the pictures was great, but also because it had a sense!
i arrived in Biarritz under a real monsoon... and of course the sun really came back the day before i left!
i came back in orléans last sunday afternoon, and then i've been working on those cds i am sending to some magazines.. it took me a life to make them, not only the cd, also the sleeves and stuffs!

i would like to make some postcards of my pictures... but i am wondering so many things!! like: do i need the permission of every single surfer, if i wanna make postcards of my pix of the surf scene??
if one of you knows the answer, please, email me or reply to this message!!! and i don't know who i can ask it to?? a lawyer???
also i am wondering about buying a slides/ films scanner machine so i can scan my slides and put them on my website!! but it's very expensive... and there are so many kinds... it's hard to pick up one... well there is the one of my dreams, but i can't buy it, it's too expensive!! so here is my problem: chosing between those which are not that good, but cheaper...
well i know it's not a BIG problem, but it has kept my mind busy these last 2 days...
yesteday evening i had dinner with Jean Chritophe and chloé, from Collection d'Arnell Andréa (see the music category of this website) we have spent such a great evening, we really had fun... we were just talking and laughing... eating vegetarian lasagnas, with quinoa and asparagus... and we watched some super 8 movies... it was a really good eve!
Tonight i am having dinner at my parent's with Geshe la, a tibetan friend of mine... he's cooking veg momos (a tibetan dish) waow it's gonna be like in india, when i am with my tibetan friends in the refugees camp...
well that's it for today...

gig in Nancy, veganism...

i am leaving tomorrow morning to go to Nancy, with my friends of Collection d'Arnell Andréa (see the music category of this website). they are going to play there tomorrow eve and i am going with them to take some pictures and to screen the movie which is played on stage while they are performing.
i've been developping and scanning the b&w pix of my last trip in nepal and india all the week, i hope it will be on line really soon... actually it's not depending on me right now, but on my webmatser, who is busy...
anyway, it should be on line this year!!
today i've discovered an interesting forum about veganism/vegetarism, people there are chatting about all the problems a vegan/ veg person can meet in his/her everyday life, it's really interesting and funny, if you are yourself vegan, because it remembers you stuffs that has happened to you already... and you can also see that you are not fighting for the veggie cause alone, that other people are facing the same problems as you do... here is the address, but it's in french!!
