a lot to say....

hi there....

i am back from the surf wct and i am getting lost in the depht of the boxes of my removal and all the prints i have to do for magazines.... i am just starting to recover after this kind of bronchitis i have for 3 weeks now... but i think i do feel better...
i am gonna move out this week end... that's why i am a bit in the rush... but... everything should be better next week! i'll live in a bigger flat, with a special place for my dark room... (well now my dark room is in my bathroom, and it's not that easy!)
so i should put new stuffs on line quite soon... (there gonna be a lot of new faces in the surfers portrait gallery), the thing is: i haven't finished all the prints yet, and i have to make some submission first... but as soon as i've done with that i put everything on line, i swear it on my life!!!!

Last thing:

there is a demonstration this wednesday (the 29th october 2003) in paris, in front of the Ministère de la Recherche, since 2pm, against vivisection, to demand the laboratories put into practice the cruelty free alternatives methods... so in case you're around, don't hesitate to come in front of the Ministère de la Recherche - 1 rue Descartes - 75005 Paris.

Very last thing:

If you do want a hoodie with an octopus on it:
just tell me i'll send you the PDF thing to fill up to get one for 25 bucks. That's to help an organization of guys i know (Power Poulpe & Music Association) who organize rock'nd roll indie gigs in the city i live in. They need to make money right now if they want to continue doing it. Their festival has been cancelled last summer by the cops so they've lost a lot of money... And they had like 20 and 50 heads at their two last gigs... So selling hoodies is their last chance to get some money to manage to continue organizing indie concerts in bars and small theatre halls...
25 bucks, it's not that much expensive and the hoodies are really cool (black or white with the shadow of an octopus under the arm) and it's for the good cause of the indie rock'nd roll scene... without these guys, working on their free time on the french indie network, the rock'nd roll scene would be very lame!!!
if you are interested, let me know (emails!!!!) before the end of this week... the guys has to make their order this saturday.

On the WCT in Hossegor

I am in Hossegor right now (south west of france) on the surf world championship tour... i am here for almost a week now... to sum up: stormy, rainy, windy ... the surf comp is on stand by because of a lake of waves and i've been ill for the last 3 days... a kind of flue, with fever, sore throat and stuffs...everything should get better tomorrow... the guy from the pharmacy said the medicines should make me recover tomorrow, and the weather should be sunny and the swell should come in...

Tonight Keziah jones is playing here... i don't specially like his music... but there is this australian musician, who sing, and play the guitare and the digeridoo ... he was playing last night in this seaside bar and it seemed it was quite interesting....he's supposed to play again tonight before keziah jones... we'll see then!

As you have may noticed there are a lot of new pics on my website... in the "surf comps 2003"category, there are a lot of new portraits in the "portraits gallery", and there are new stuffs in "seen on earth"as well...

Well i gotta go it's almost 6pm and i have to go to pick up some woods for a photo shoot i am gonna do with some girls pro surfers in a pine forest... i hope everything gonna be alright!!!
This shooting gonna need a lot of preparation... but if everything works well, it should be amazing.

i'll tell more about it later...
