- Cesse d'utiliser des fibres provenant des forêts menacées, et notamment de la forêt boréale ;

- Cesse de fabriquer des papiers jetables en utilisant seulement des fibres vierges. L'entreprise devrait plutôt maximiser le pourcentage des fibres recyclées postconsommation dans tous ses produits ;

subdivision

"white people are so scared of black people
they bulldoze out to the country
and put up houses on little loop-dee-loop streets
and while america gets its heart cut right out of its chest
the berlin wall still runs down main street
separating east side from west
and nothing is stirring, not even a mouse
in the boarded-up stores and the broken-down houses
so they hang colorful banners off all the street lamps
just to prove they got no manners
no mercy and no sense

and i'm wondering what it will take
for my city to rise
first we admit our mistakes
then we open our eyes
the ghosts of old buildings are haunting parking lots
in the city of good neighbors that history forgot

i remember the first time i saw someone
lying on the cold street
i thought: i can't just walk past here
this can't just be true
but i learned by example
to just keep moving my feet
it's amazing the things that we all learn to do

so we're led by denial like lambs to the slaughter
serving empires of style and carbonated sugar water
and the old farm road's a four-lane that leads to the mall
and our dreams are all guillotines waiting to fall

i'm wondering what it will take
for my country to rise
first we admit our mistakes
and then we open our eyes
or nature succumbs to one last dumb decision
and america the beautiful
is just one big subdivision"

"i know that you guys like to smoke, but..."

is anyone know why male photographers always sexualize female models that much?? i guess it's because it's easier to sale that kind of pictures... but it's soo dark, and really lame!
i don't know why they keep on doing the same things again and again... i'm talking about fashion male photographers. they always transfer their weirdest fantasies on hot models who are trying to make their living in the fashion business... and who has to feel really upset to know if this or this photographer gonna be ok with their new haircut.. (it would end their career if they don't :o(
these guys got too much power on female models. that sucks. and feminin mags support that! this is pretty scarrie! these mags should be against that kind of things... against those scarrie visions of objectified women... just seen as sex toys... but they don't! they are so glad to use it again and again...
sad.

in particular...

working for others... it's something really satisfying if you manage to keep your personnality and your main idea in mind.
then it can be really amazing. a real exchange.
it's not because you work for ohters that you got to do exactly what they expect you to do... Be yourself and do your own thing. You can discuss about how you see/feel it... to see if you have a good understanding/feeling of it. to do not spoil anything too much.. but it's important to express yourself or it's gonna be frustrating and painful pretty soon...
people must like you because of what you are/do... and not because you're able to do what they want you to do..
good night..

Cet état n'a ni nom ni forme.

did you say "crappy graphic design"?

is blogging gross?
is it too showie showie?
too pretentious?
is it obscene?
well i hope mine is not... any of that things :o(

but i saw there are some really weird frightening ones... i guess it's gonna become soon something you hide... to do not scare people :o)

i really think it can be something artistic and interesting... but i feel like it's something you can't trust in.
A photoblog by example: when i watch someone else's photoblog even if it's really georgious i can't help thinking the guy is faking with some photoshop tricks.. even if he/she doesn't... you know... it's so hard to tell now what's a true good picture and what is a photoshop freak thing...
i had this conversation tonight, with my graphic designer friend Zigmoon. He was showing me his last work, a poster for a guy... he took the picture with his small digital camera and worked on it all night on his computer (you can see it here..)
and i was thinking: oh gosh! why people would need photographers for? a graphic designer can do everything by himself now and it's much cheaper than paying for a photographer to take the picture and then to pay the graphic designer to work on it (what they'd have to do anyway)... now the g.d can do everything from a to z by themselves... and they do it so well with photoshop that no one can even notices the difference :o(
i guess i should just locked myself for a year to learn all the photoshop tricks to pretend to be myself a graphic designer... :o(
or i just call myself a g.d and i make up a new concept: crappy graphic design! yes you don't know it yet, but it's soooooo fashionable in NYC right now... Bjork is tinking of it for her next album.. but i am hesitating because Radiohead asked me first..

ok i'm getting tired

barley grass juice rocks

"when you're alone and life is making you lonely, you can always go.. downtown"...

even, even, even, even...

when the night pitch black and when the streets pitch white..

i'am freezing. lame. i know.
i've been drawing all day... a new story, a new beginning. new character. still in black and white, but with some red sometimes... but red has always been something really redundant in my life... my favourite colour since i am a kid...
boring, i know.

well thats it. i am gonna drink my barley grass juice instead...

homeworks

merci d'avance,

it's all about fame and glory

These are the two things that make people do/say things. of course some are honest when they get involved, and take actions... but there is quite a few (may i'd rather say a lot??) who just want to be on TV, or to be considered and respected as VIPs. How to recognize them? well, when you see some guys who are taking action, just wonder: "are they really thinking of the cause they defend while they are doing this?". If they are too busy by posing for tvs and photographers... well i am afraid they are probably doing it to satisfy their ego thirst of being popular for doing something...

And yes i wanted to say:

to the guys who want to use my pictures on their websites/blogs: ask me before using them, or at last, credit me and my website when you do so. And please don't use my bandwidth. It's forbidden plus it's rude, plus i could be in trouble because of that... i guess you probably don't give a shit about it, but well i do...

the world is confusing

Hi,

Peta france took action against fur today in france... thanks for doing it guys.
As you may already know: wearing fur sucks. If you don't know it yet, it's not too late: http://www.furisdead.com/

I can understand people who doesn't know about it are not really "guilty" of wearing fur. ignorance is a big disease... and by ignoring things, we all can make a lot of mistakes. And well, it's a confusing world, so i can understand it's hard sometimes to open the eyes and to be... alive.
But i really don't understand people who knows what wearing fur or eating meat involve and who still keep on wearing fur, leather... eating meat...
Of course, everyone is free to make its own choice, to take its own decision and to go veg or not, to wear fur or not... and i guess it must be easier to ignore the reality and to pretend to have good reasons for not even trying. but it's a bit coward. And cowardice is the mainly reason why slaughter houses are still going, why animals are still captured to be killed for their fur.
To me the suffering inflicted to animals is so useless and from another age. Today we can find fake leather/fur everywhere, and it's cheaper, so what's the point of still wearing real fur or animal's skin? there are a lot of options available.
there are so many pains we can't really help in this world... so why can't we stop the ones we could easily avoid just by changing our habits??

if anyone knows... please feel free to express yourself!

"killing animals for sport, for pleasure, for adventure, and for hides and furs is a phenomena which is at once disgusting and distressing. There is no justification in indulging in such acts of brutality". The XIV Dalai Lama.

removing days from my diary...

i have been testing a half-frame camera for days... and i still can't figure out if it works or not... actually it's hard to tell: in many ways it seems it does... but sometimes i just feel like it does not. weird.
i am not writing a materialistic-depressive-optimistic post... and i am not whinnning neither... and well, i hate post offices.

i am scanning some colours films.. To force myself to keep in touch with the analog system (i've been using more my small digital camera than my analog for the last couple of months..) i think i'm on the edge. i am thinking of selling all my analog stuffs to take the risk to really go totally digital. To discover a completely new way of seeing, thinking, and using stuffs... a new vision (and a vegan vision). I'd have to forget the few stuffs i know about my analog camera, to re learn everything from the start. To forget about my fancy lenses that usually make things look so real, or prettier, or whatever... to face a simple compact digital camera.
I am now wondering... am i really able to do that? i guess i'm getting more and more lazy... digital cameras make things so easy that it just feels weird... it feels a bit like throwing away the videotext terminal to get the adsl... well no... that's not a good comparison... because i don't really think that analog cameras are over (and my parents still think that videotext terminals are cool)... but things are just getting more and more complicated: now when you want to buy papers or chemicals or films, you must be prepared mentally to frustration. They probably won't get what you need and you'll have a very limited choice of stuffs to replace what you wanted first. The paper i used to use is ran out.. and they may gonna receive a new version quite similar... but nothing is sure by now.
My mistake (with digital cameras) was to try to find the same thing/vision i used to have with my analog. Now that i've been using this small digital camera for a couple of months i've noticed it's just a new and radically different era.
Another way to see stuffs. Sometimes worst, sometimes better. i can't really say i prefer it to analog... (it's hard though, on my digital the lense is not that bright and i hate flash. i miss the brightness of my analog's wide angles). Ok i got it: let say it's like when you go in a packed post office and you just walk straight away to the stamp machine while everyone is waiting for ages just to ask about shipping methods or chanel or tour de france stamps... and... voilà!

but well who cares??

sorry for being vague today... let's go to the swimming pool (of doom??)

thanks for the visit,

noémie.

apocalypse now

hey

tell me if i am wrong, but it seems we are living in a really fucked up world. nothing new in that? yup i know... but some days ago i was counting how many unemployed persons i know.. and it makes quite a lot! and sometimes it's about entire families being unemployed. But i am sure regular workers will keep on voting right wing and more and more deep in it :o(
what's the point of having kids in this society?

more kids = more pollution on this already over polluted planet
more kids = more unemployed persons

i am sorry if it looks like easy and stupid fast maths.. but i can't help it: that's the way i see it by now. and i really don't understand how other people can keep on having kids... it's selfish in a way: it's cruel to make one more being handle this. one more unemployed, or one more guy doing a job he doesn't like, wasting his time just for money, to buy new stuffs and feed the kids... then need more money... to buy new stuffs and feed the kids, then need more money.. to buy new stuffs and feed the kids, then need more money... and on and on :o(

sorry for being so apocalyptic today but...well, think of it!
